Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz recognized Brooklyn’s elementary, middle and high school students, as well as groups or teams that have attained recognition in Brooklyn, with the annual Best of Brooklyn award.

Areas of achievement include robotics teams, girl’s track, debate teams, soccer teams, National Merit Scholars, musicians, writers, artists, dancers and scholar athletes.

Borough President Markowitz honored 600 students this year, and many were on hand at Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street, to receive their awards.
