A Park Slope rental store leased the superstitious some good fortune this past Friday the 13 when its veep traveled up from Texas and randomly handed out Brooklyn Cyclone tickets to 1,000 lucky boroughites.

Gus Whitcomb, vice president of Rent-A-Center, visited the branch at 500 5th Avenue to distribute a pair of tickets to the hometown favorites as part of the company’s statewide Random Acts of Caring program.

The gesture was sure to transform the recipients’ destiny from good to bad on the traditionally unlucky day, said a company spokesperson.
