The CCNS St. Charles Jubilee Senior Center will hold its 35th anniversary celebration from 1:30-3 p.m., June 25 at the center’s facility, the Pierrepont House, 55 Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights. Everyone 60+ and their guests are welcome to enjoy free food, music and dancing.

Funded by the NYC Department for the Aging and affiliated with Catholic Charities, CCNS St. Charles Jubilee was the inspiration of Auxiliary Bishop Rene Valero and was launched as a pilot program in the basement of the former St. Charles Hospital in June 1973.

In 1981, the center moved to the Pierrepont House, where it continues to provide a warm atmosphere for its members to socialize, eat a nutritious lunch and participate in many exciting and diversified activities, namely yoga, tai chi, aerobics, bingo, line dancing, movies, computer classes, legal advice and case assistance.
