A 60-year-old man was sent to Kings County Hospital in serious, but stable condition after he was hit by an 18-wheeler while crossing Flatbush Avenue on Friday.

Paramedics rushed to the scene at Avenue K at 8:13 am, where they found the man clinging to life and rushed him to Kings County Hospital, according to police.

The driver had a green light when he passed through the intersection and struck the victim, who was not on the crosswalk when he was hit, according to witnesses.

No charges have been filed against the driver, although a police investigation remains ongoing.
