Two men were killed after their car set fire following a collision in Marine Park on Saturday morning, according to authorities.

Police said the two men were speeding in their Nissan Altima and disobeying traffic laws when they sideswiped a 2010 Ford Edge. The driver of the Nissan was speeding on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue V when he lost control and hit a pole, according to authorities.

The two men in the Ford Edge were not injured during the crash or taken to the hospital, police said.

Cops were unable to identify the bodies or the year of the Altima due to the extent of the damage caused by the fire, according to law enforcement sources.

Several bystanders attempted to pull the men out from the car, but were unsuccessful, according to the police report.

The investigation remains ongoing.

At least this maniac just killed themselves and their passenger. The roads will be a bit safer without this psycho driving on them.

"Two men were killed after their car set fire following a collision" What sort of tortured passive voice opening is this? How about "The driver killed himself and his passenger when he crashed his car, setting it on fire, in Marine Park."

At least I have an original thought and don't try jumping on the bandwagon. Go post some racist garbage elsewhere as per usual.

Hakeem says:
The police also better do something about all those noisy, speeding motorcycles that run wild in the hood every summer, popping wheelies, blowing through red lights, going down one way streets. Innocent people are going to get killed. Do these cyclists think they are cool? Any normal person thinks they are a bunch of attention-seeking losers. Please catch them and have another massive bike crushing event. I will be there to watch.

Those noisy, speeding motorcycles acting like idiots are apparently cops, so no, nothing will be done about it.
