Cops seek teen suspected of snatching elderly woman’s purse in Sheepshead Bay

Cops are searching for a woman who snatched an elderly woman’s purse in Sheepshead Bay on June 12.

The thief snagged the 64-year-old woman’s purse that contained $200 from her hands before fleeing northbound on Sheepshead Bay Road., according to authorities.

The woman is believed to be in her late teens and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, a gray fanny pack and jeans, police said.

The search is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
