Register snatcher

A prowler looted $1,750 from an Avenue P storefront on Oct. 15.

The business owner told police that the thief smashed the glass front door of the store near Coney Island Avenue at around midnight and ran off with the cash register.

Highway robber

A bandit grabbed $5,623 from double-parked truck near Nostrand Avenue on Oct. 16.

The victim told police that he was making a delivery near Avenue X at around 1 pm, when the raider sangged the money from the truck’s dashboard.

Garage picker

A home invader stole an air compressor from an Avenue U home’s garage on Oct. 19.

The victim told police that the pilferer picked the lock of the garage near E. 19th Street at around 2 pm and grabbed the $120 item.
